By using mkb.lk or the MKB mobile app you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old and physically located in Sri Lanka to place an order. By placing an order you confirm you have authority to do so.
2. Your account
- Authentication is via your mobile number and a one-time password (OTP).
- You are responsible for maintaining control of the device, SIM, and biometric unlock used to log in.
- Notify us immediately at support@mkb.lk if you suspect unauthorised access.
3. Orders, prices, and availability
- Prices and availability shown in the app reflect the branch you selected. Prices may differ between branches.
- Order acceptance is confirmed only when MKB sends an order confirmation. Orders may be declined for stock, address, or verification reasons.
- Promotional offers are subject to per-customer and per-day limits shown on the offer.
4. Delivery and pickup
- Delivery times shown are estimates, not guarantees.
- You or someone authorised by you must be at the delivery address to accept the order. We may charge a redelivery fee if no one is available.
- Pickup orders left uncollected for 24 hours may be cancelled and refunded minus a restocking fee.
5. Payment
- You may pay in-app, on delivery, or on pickup as available for your branch.
- Card and online payments are processed by third-party processors and subject to their terms.
6. Refunds
- Damaged, missing, or incorrect items are eligible for refund or replacement when reported within 24 hours of delivery.
- Fresh produce, frozen, and perishable items are reviewed case-by-case.
7. Acceptable use
You may not use the Services to (a) place fraudulent orders, (b) scrape prices or product data in bulk, (c) attempt to disrupt the Services, or (d) violate Sri Lankan law.
8. Intellectual property
All content in the Services — including product photos, descriptions, layouts, and the MKB name and logos — is owned by MKB or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property law.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MKB is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Services is limited to the value of the order to which the claim relates.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Colombo.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use of the Services after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
