Delete your myMKB account

This page is provided by Agoysoft (Pvt) Ltd for the myMKB mobile app used with MKB. Use the steps below to request that your account and associated personal data be deleted.

How to request deletion

The fastest way is inside the myMKB app while signed in:

Open myMKB Sign in with the mobile number on your account.

Go to MyMKB (Account) Open the account tab from the bottom navigation.

Tap Delete account Confirm the warning. This permanently closes the account for app access.

If you cannot use the app, email privacy@mkb.lk from a reachable address, include the registered mobile number, and ask for account deletion. We may verify ownership before acting.

What is deleted or kept

Deleted or cleared from your account profile

Your display name and NIC on the customer profile
App access to the account (status set to deleted)
Open carts and other non-accepted sales orders linked to the account

Retained for accounting / legal records

The customer database row (needed to keep historical sales intact)
Accepted and fulfilled sales / invoices and related financial records
Information we must keep under tax, audit, or other legal obligations

Retention of sales and invoice records follows applicable Sri Lankan accounting and legal requirements. Personal identifiers on the profile are cleared as described above. Optional partial data deletion without closing the account is not offered at this time.
